       festivaltravel.com.au acts as a travel agent only. We sell various travel related products on behalf of numerous transport, accommodation and

       other wholesale service providers, such as airlines, coach, rail and cruiseline operators. festivaltravel.com.au's obligation is to make travel

       bookings on your behalf and to arrange relevant contracts between you and the travel service providers. We have no responsibility for

       these services, nor do we make or give any warranty or representation regarding their standard. All bookings are made subject to the

       terms and conditions and limitations of liability imposed by these service providers. Your legal recourse is against the specific provider

       and not festivaltravel.com.au. If for any reason, any travel service provider is unable to provide the services for which you have contracted your

       remedy lies against the provider and not with festivaltravel.com.au.

 

       It is important that you and all members of the travelling party are aware of the following terms & conditions as they may relate all or in

       part to the bookings held by our office on your behalf. If you are making bookings on behalf of a couple or a group, we will be happy to

       provide you with more than one copy of this confirmation if requested.

 

       All reservations have been booked under the terms & conditions laid down by the airlines and wholesalers. Discounted and special

       airfares are often non refundable and non changeable. It is the client’s responsibility to be aware of all conditions of travel. Please pay

       particular attention to the clauses covering amendments, passenger no show and cancellations. Should you have any questions

       about the stipulated terms and conditions or are unsure of the terms and conditions of travel, please ask you consultant at the time of

       booking and prior to confirmation and we will be happy to provide additional information. festivaltravel.com.au  reserves the right to also impose

       fees in addition to airlines and wholesalers.

 

       LOW COST AIRLINES

       Due to the increase in demand for low cost airlines, festivaltravel.com.au is happy to book these airlines as requested by clients. Any bookings

       made on these airlines is strictly as per the full terms and conditions outlined on the low cost carriers website and/or documentation.

       Clients` accept all terms and conditions as outlined by the airline. festivaltravel.com.au reserves the right to charge booking, amendment and

       cancellation fees.

 

       LIABILITY

       We do not accept any liability of whatever nature, whether in contract, tort or otherwise, for the acts, omissions or default, whether

       negligent or otherwise, of third party providers over whom we have no direct control. Under circumstances where liability cannot be

       excluded, such liability is limited to the value of the purchased travel arrangements. We do not accept any liability in contract, tort or

       otherwise for any injury, damage, loss (including consequential loss), delay, additional expense or inconvenience caused directly or

       indirectly by force majeure or any other event which is beyond our control which is not preventable by reasonable diligence on our

       part.

 

       QUOTED PRICES

       All prices quoted in your confirmation letter are correct at the time of writing. Prices may fluctuate depending on fuel surcharges, bank

       rates or exchange rates (if applicable) and are not guaranteed until full payment has been made. Deposits merely hold the

       reservations and do not guarantee prices.

 

       PAYMENT OPTIONS

       All fares must be paid by the specified date as indicated to you by your consultant or as stated on your due by date on your booking

       confirmation. We will not remind you of your due by date and failure to do so may result in your booking cancelling. Cheques will not

       be accepted for travel within seven (7) working days of travel. Credit card payments may be accepted however costs may vary

       dependant on the airline or tour operator used. If you intend to pay by credit card to obtain reward points it is essential that we are

       informed at the time of booking as to what type of credit card you wish to use. Credit card fees apply.

 

       Please note we require a signature to charge a credit card. If you wish to pay by credit card, please ask your travel consultant for a

       credit card authority form to complete and return to your consultant. A processing fee of 1.9% will be charged on all credit cards payments.

 

       Similarly, the airline or tour wholesaler may also charge a processing fee. Your consultant will advise you of this.

 

       For your convenience you may direct deposit via the internet or at your local bank. No fees apply as this is treated as a cash payment.

       Please email a copy of the transfer receipt to your consultant. Direct deposits may take at least one to two working days to appear in

       our account so please make sure you have transferred the funds prior to the balance due date.

 

       AMENDMENT AND CANCELLATION FEES

       All amendments (if allowed) to this booking will incur fees and charges. A large number of tickets are non‑refundable or

       non‑changeable. If in doubt please ask your consultant. For all deposit, cancellations and amendment fees ask you consultant.

       Cancellations need to be made in writing and the amendment and cancellation fees form must be signed. Please ensure you have

       adequate travel insurance to cover you in the event of cancellation due to an unforseen circumstance.

    

       PER BOOKING
       Twenty percent (20%) of all monies paid in addition to the fees applied by Airlines-Coach Companies-Shipping Companies-Railways-Hotels-Tour Operators and others.
       The above amounts will be deducted from any refunds due or monies held by travel key

 

       TRAVEL INSURANCE

       Your holiday safety and enjoyment is important to us and we support the Australian Government’s recommendation that all people

       travelling take out travel insurance. To help you identify which is the most suitable policy for you we have included a copy of our

       insurance provider`s brochure. It is important to read this brochure carefully and to take note of the cover and exclusions as they may

       relate to your particular circumstances.

 

       If you have any pre‑existing medical conditions (as listed in the brochure) then cover for this may need approval by the insurer. If you

       need cover for a pre‑existing medical condition that requires approval by the insurer, we are able to provide you with the required

       medical assessment form to complete. Please note that in providing you with a quote for insurance we have not taken into account

       your personal objectives, financial situation or needs. Before deciding to purchase any of the travel insurance policies we offer, you

       should read the Product Disclosure Statement (PDS) and policy wording.

 

       If you have taken out another Travel Insurance Policy or believe you have adequate cover from a credit card policy, we will require

       details of the insurance cover that you hold. If you decline the offer to purchase travel insurance you will be required to sign an

       Indemnity Form before travel documents will be released.

 

       Please be aware that if you purchase insurance with any provider other than those offered by festivaltravel.com.au, there will be a $ 250.00

       processing fee to assist you in making any claim.

 

       TRAVELLERS HEALTH ADVICE

       Some areas of the world have special vaccination and health requirements. We recommend that you contact your nearest Travellers

       Medical Centre who are specialists in this field. Your local doctor may not have access to the most recent World Health Organisation

       notices. If you are unable to undertake travel because you do not meet the health requirements, we will not be liable for any extra

       costs that may be incurred.

 

       DEPT. of FOREIGN AFFAIRS & TRADE WARNINGS

       For reasons of political unrest, acts of war or terrorism or natural disasters in certain parts of the world, the Australian Government in

       conjunction with various other worldwide bodies may decide to issue a Government Advisory warning to Australian passport holders

       not to travel to that country. In these instances, whilst travel to some countries is not advisable and some clauses of the travel

       insurance coverage may not be effective, we appreciate that some clients may still need to travel to those areas. Whilst we are

       prepared to make these bookings on our clients’ behalf we do so without responsibility or liability.               

 

       Should you wish to check with the Department of Foreign Affairs their web address is www.dfat.gov.au. There is also a service

       provided to Australian travellers where you are able to register your personal details i.e. passport numbers, contact details in Australia

       and the countries you will be visiting. These details are automatically passed on to the relevant Embassies of the countries you will be

       visiting. Simply register via the website www.dfat.gov.au to utilise this service. For consulate warning`s, visit smarttraveller.gov.au.

 

       PASSPORTS

       Please refer to www.dfat.gov.au for Australian passports to get the latest & complete information, for other citizens please contact

       your relevant embassy or consulate. Some common points to be aware of: Passports are required for all international travel. Most

       passports must have a minimum of 6 months validity from the date of scheduled return to Australia and entry into some countries

       including the USA must be a “machine readable passport”. Any Australian passport issued outside of Australia may not be a “machine

       readable passport”. You are required to comply with all laws and regulations relating to travel, and can contact the Australian

       Department of Foreign Affairs & Trade for a renewal passport.

 

       Travel documents and airline tickets must match the name and spelling exactly as appears in the passport. Additionally, for security

       reasons some airlines may require all details as they appear in the passport prior to ticketing. Please ensure that you advise your

       consultant of the correct details at the time of booking. We will need to sight your passport before any documents can be released

       and we will not be liable for any incorrect information given to us nor for any re‑issue fees imposed by the airline or tour wholesaler

       should re‑issue of documentation be required. If travelling on any passport other than Australian, you must inform us immediately as it

       may be necessary to obtain a re‑entry visa into Australia or visa for other countries. If you have a previous criminal record you could

       be denied entry into your country of destination. Whilst we offer full assistance, it is the responsibility of each traveller to ensure that they

       have full and correct     documentation to undertake their journey and we do not accept any liability whatsoever.

 

       VISA REQUIREMENTS

       Visa requirements vary for each destination country, and it is the obligation of the traveller to ensure that all visa requirements are

       satisfied. The issuance of visa is not the responsibility of your travel agent and we cannot be held responsible should you be unable

       to obtain the correct visa to undertake your journey.

       Australian Passport holders require a visa to enter many countries. Some countries allow a “visa free” stay for tourism purposes. If

       you are travelling on business this does not always apply.  Some consulates charge visa fees and we reserve the right to charge a

       service fee to cover courier & processing fees should we need to obtain this documentation on your behalf. Deportation for

       non‑issuance or incorrect visas is at the traveller’s expense. Although many countries have visa free entry for tourists for specified

       lengths of stay entry to that country is still a port of entry decision.

 

       It is mandatory for visa waiver travellers to have an approved Travel Authorization 72 hours prior to departing to the United States

       (including Hawaii & Alaska). This can be completed online at https://esta.cbp.dhs.gov/esta. Please speak with your consultant if you

       require assistance completing this. If you or members of your travelling party have a recorded criminal offense, entry may be denied.

       Please speak with the relevant consulate of the country you are visiting prior to departure for further information.

 

       TAXES & LEVIES IMPOSED

       Various countries, states, towns and airports around the world and in Australia impose a variety of Security, Airport & Departure

       Taxes. Where applicable and possible these have been included in the cost of the airline ticket. There may be some variations in final

       costs depending on exchange rate fluctuation and the number of taxes/fuel surcharges imposed at time of ticketing. Any additional

       costs or taxes that occur such as departure taxes payable at airports in cash will be the responsibility of the traveller.

 

       FOREIGN EXCHANGE

       travel key are able to assist you with foreign exchange in all major currencies as well as a wide range of foreign currency cash

       passports.  By simply pre‑arranging cash prior to your departure you will save both time and money when you arrive at the country

       you are visiting. 

 

       INTERNATIONAL DRIVING PERMITS

       If you intend on driving overseas, an International Driving Permit (IDP) is a useful travel document and is required for renting a motor

       vehicle in many countries. Also, most car rental companies require a credit card imprint before allowing the vehicle to be hired. If you

       require more information on either of these please ask your travel consultant.

 

       FREQUENT FLYER PROGRAMS

       Most airlines offer Frequent Flyer Reward Programs ‑ if you are not a member of any of these programs, we are happy to discuss

       your options and the benefits with you. Similarly, if you are a member of any Frequent Flyer program, please ensure that your

       consultant is aware of this immediately so that the necessary steps can be taken to ensure that you earn the rewards. As a safeguard

       it is also advisable to keep all your boarding passes so that you can verify this against your points summary after travel has been

       completed.

       NB: Frequent Flyer points are not always available on special fares.

 

      AUSSIESIM

      festivaltravel.com.au is in partnership with Australia`s leading travel sim provider ‑ AussieSim. AussieSim is a simple to‑use, prepaid SIM card

       which lets you keep your existing Australian mobile number when you’re travelling overseas. Wherever you are, you can receive and

       make calls, send a text message or browse the internet. All at amazingly low rates. Speak to your consultant to purchase a SIM card

       today.

       NB: AussieSim will work with almost all unlocked handsets that are less than 7 years old. Contact your mobile service provider to

       have your handset unlocked.

 

       AMERICAN EXPRESS MEMBERSHIP REWARDS

       festivaltravel.com.au is a partner in the American Express Membership Rewards programme. American Express Membership rewards points can

       be earned when paying with your American Express Card and redeemed as payment (partial or full payment) for your travel

       arrangements. Clients utilizing American Express Cards for payment or redemption must advise your consultant at the time of

       booking to allow correct processing. Only valid American Express Cards affiliated to the American Express Membership Rewards

       programme are entitled to earn or redeem points. It is the full and exclusive responsibility of the card holder to ensure their card is a

       partner in the Membership Rewards programme.

 

       MYER ONE

       festivaltravel.com.au is a partner in the Myer One programme. We are only able to award points at the time of final payment and clients are

       required to present their Myer One membership card. Points cannot be backdated after 7 days of receiving final payment. Clients

       paying with American Express or Diners are not eligible to receive Myer One points. We are happy to accept other forms of payment

       should clients wish to receive Myer One points

 

       THEATRE, SPECIAL EVENT & SHOW TICKETS

       We are able to book a range of theatre, show and sporting event tickets for you at your destination. Pre‑booking ensures your seats

       and pre‑payment ensures that you don’t have to stand in long queues in the hope that you may get a ticket. Ask your consultant for

       details on what is on and when, we are happy to assist you in any way possible with this service.

 

       SPECIAL REQUESTS

       If you have any special requests (i.e. aisle or window seats, special dietary requests, airport assistance or hotel room type) every

       attempt will be made by us to accommodate your request but as we are not the ultimate service provider, we are not in a position to

       guarantee the request.

 

       TICKET COLLECTION

       When your tickets are ready, we will contact you, as we do not forward tickets in the mail. Please ensure you collect your tickets from

       our office prior to your departure.

 

       AIRLINE RECONFIRMATION

       Although some airlines do not require reconfirmation of flights, festivaltravel.com.au recommends clients reconfirm flights directly with the

       respective airline 72 to 24hrs prior to travel. Please refer to full airline terms and conditions.
